1. What if I don't speak English at all, can I take this course?

This is a basic speaking English course that is suitable for those who have
✅ once learned English and have forgotten, and for those
✅ who have not studied the language at all.

Three months of intensive work awaits you:
📱 flashcards with basic vocabulary on everyday topics that you can download to your phone
📽️ very detailed video explanations on how to use vocabulary in conversation, as well as how to construct sentences correctly.
🏋️ short and long exercises for practicing and practicing vocabulary and grammar
🗣️ conversation sessions with a teacher

2. How will the speaking session be held?

Speaking classes are conducted via Skype and last 60 or 90 minutes, as agreed with the teacher.
The time of the lessons is agreed upon with the teacher after purchasing the course.

In conversation classes you will speak 100% of the time.
You will communicate with the teacher and the group members in full English on the topics you are studying.

The teacher
✔️ will advise you on the best resources to use during the lesson.
✔️ will give you tips on how to use words correctly
✔️ will cheer you up
✔️ will gently correct mistakes where necessary.

During the lesson you will also analyze the moments that caused difficulties in passing the tasks on the platform, as well as use the learned material in your speech.

New words and grammatical constructions that occur during the conversation are written out by the teacher in the chat room, so that you can return to them at any time after the lesson.

We create a friendly atmosphere for unhindered practice at a fairly high pace, in a lively format, discussing real-life situations.

3. What is the policy of canceling and rescheduling classes?

1. Rescheduling, canceling, and missing individual classes

All classes are on an initially agreed upon schedule between the instructor and the student. This can be either a fixed or a floating schedule (as agreed with the instructor).

To cancel/reschedule a class, you must Skype the instructor.
When a class is canceled for less than 5 hours or a student does not show up for class, the student will be charged as a lesson, 100% ❗ except in cases of force majeure*.

*force majeure events are recognized as:
✔️ communication circumstances – loss of internet connection less than 2 hours before class; no more than 1 time per month;
✔️ family circumstances – death of relatives;
✔️ planned vacation, business trip or sick leave (you should write about it to the class chat/personal chat with the instructor and Customer Success Manager and provide confirmation).

 

2. Rescheduling, Cancellation and Missing Group Classes

All classes follow the originally agreed upon schedule between the instructor and the group.

When a student is unable to attend a class for any reason, the instructor must be notified in advance. In this case, the instructor will provide a recording of the class (at the student’s request).

If a student is absent from a group lesson for any reason other than force majeure*, he/she will be charged as if the lesson had been taught, at 100% ❗. Fees may be rescheduled only in cases of force majeure*.

*force majeure cases are recognized as:
✔️ communication problem – loss of internet connection less than 2 hours before class; no more than 1 time per month;
✔️ family emergency – death of a relative;

4. How is this course going?

The course consists of 27 platform topics and 32 speaking sessions (10 additional sessions are available if required, please consult your training manager about this)

You will:
✔️ complete one topic per week (video, flashcards in your phone, audio, platform exercises)
✔️ complete and send finished homework in Skype chat
✔️ get detailed feedback and practice speaking sessions

Every Skype session is recorded, so you can access any session at any time.

5. How much time do I need for homework?

After going through each topic on the platform, you complete a compulsory homework❗ assignment

It is divided into:
✔️ written (translation of a dialog)
✔️ oral (audio/video recording with an answer to a specific question).

On average you will invest from 30 minutes to 2 hours per day on your own preparation.

6. What are the guarantees that I will be able to speak after the course?
